Melinda Register started taking pictures when she was 14 years old with an old Minolta her grandmother gave her. She taught herself about apertures and shutter speeds and took pictures of everything she could lay her eyes on. Her love for photographs inspired her to study in college Art Studio at the University of South Carolina. She found herself spending countless nights in the darkroom mesmerized by the process of developing beautiful pictures. This became her passion.

After college she decided to start taking pictures full-time and turn her love into a career, hence Melinda Register Photography. From weddings to fashion to everyday life, Melinda loves capturing life in its greatest moments, and also taking pictures of her two dogs and her cat named Pickle.
